Professor

Georgouli Katerina studied Mathematics at the University of Athens in Greece. She has an MSc in Intelligent Systems and Cognitive Science from the University of Plumouth, UK and she was awarded a Phd in Intelligent Tutoring Systems from the University of Athens. Since 1988, she is a member of the Department of Informatics of the Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) of Athens, Greece, where currently she is a Professor. She has been coordinator and Organizing Comity of European Tempus Programs and member of different funded research programs. She is a referee for national conferences and article reviewer of international journals. She has conducted research and published papers and articles on topics such as expert systems, intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive hypermedia and e-learning.. She is the writer of a book in Programming Languages Translators and she has published the proceedings of the tempus workshops and symposiums. She is a member of the Greek Computer Society, of the Greek Artificial Intelligence Society and of the AI-ED Society. Her main Research Interests: Intelligent Educational Software, Adaptive Hypermedia, Expert Systems, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, e-Learning.
